Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid
Madrid gathered faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to mark diversity and coexistence. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how education can reduce prejudice.
During the event, participants explored themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that Madrid cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
